For everyday maintenance:

Use a sponge mop dampened with lukewarm water to clean wood surfaces treated with 0216 Finishing Oil. For harder to clean stains a small drop of dish soap applied directly onto the stain, then wiped down with a damp sponge may be used. Sponge or sponge mop should be damp, not wet.

DO NOT use cleaners or chemicals to clean wood surfaces treated with 0216 Finishing Oil.

DO NOT use Natural Oil Floor cleaners.

For periodic maintenance as needed use:

0214 Easy Maintenance – For floors treated with 0216 Finishing Oil.

  1. Sweep the surface well.

  3. Sponge or mop should be damp, not wet.

– Use for Hardwood Floors, Furniture and Woodwork Treated with 0216 Finishing Oil.

Maintenancefor 0244 Finishing Wax:

  1. Dust mop or vacuum regularly. DO NOT use chemicals or cleaners.
  2. Use a buffer with a “SOFT” polishing brush to maintain the shine.
  3. Reapply 0244 Finishing Wax as needed. Apply using a “T-Bar” with a Lambswool Floor Coater refill as this will assure a thin even coat. DO NOT pour the 0244 Finishing Wax directly onto the floor as this will cause staining. Pour wax into a bucket, dip the applicator into the wax, remove excess, and then apply evenly. You may dilute the 0244 Finishing Wax with water up to 10% to minimize “overlap” marks. (Always test the application method in a small unseen area to make sure you achieve the desired results).
